My Professional Profile
Since starting my career in India, I’m thrilled to say that I’ve learned from so many trained professionals in my field. I know that I still have so much to learn from others in the academia and industry. Though a hard worker, and a a team player, I prefer balanced life and I believe in working with efficiency. I am excited to see what projects could benefit from my unique skill set.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, SRM UNIVERSITY, LUCKNOW
As Assistant Professor at SRM University Lucknow, my key responsibilities were teaching, involvement in evolving curriculum and teaching materials, and research. I taught Physics, Mechanics of Waves, and Solid Mechanics to undergraduate students, gained expertise in FDTD simulations and developed MATLAB codes for the same, contributed to establishment of Center of Excellence for NI technologies and published research papers in internationally reputed journals. Apart from the core responsibilities I assisted in various administrative roles, technical assistance and coordination for establishing ERP system, etc.

STUDENT PROJECT
I took this on as a personal project to propel both my personal life and career forward. It was something I'd always wanted to work on, and so I made a point of carving out time after school, on the weekends and spent sleepless nights to make it happen. I learned and applied various innovative ides and had a lot of fun.
PERSONAL RESEARCH PROJECT
While working on optical effects in dye sensitized solar cells, I had deviced plan to further my studies with FDTD simulations. Though work pressure was tremendous, I received co-operation from my colleagues, students and parents. I went on with determination and am happy to share the story with you.
RESEARCH PROJECTS
I really enjoyed working on these project. It gave me an opportunity to be creative and do things a little outside of the box. I also had to push myself initially, however subsequently it became my second nature to get absorbed in solving the questions that I was faced with either through simulations, literature reviews, or getting back to fundamentals.

Educational Experience
HIGH SCHOOL, JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA
2002-2009
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is a chain of schools established countrywide and is run by autonomous body called Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. Today it is unparalleled in the school education in India and elsewhere.
As enthusiastic, inquisitive, hard working and talented student I received various awards and recognition, always maintained my position among top ranks, and charmed my teachers with unique skills and enthusiasm.
I spent 5 years (from 2002 to 2007, 6th to 10th) at residential Navodaya school in Sabarkantha, Gujarat. In 2007-08 I was the only student from my school who was sent to Navodaya Vidyalaya Pune for special training through collaboration with NGO. I am exited to inform that I cracked IIT JEE exam in the first try and scored highest among my classmates - special trainees from Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa provinces of India - at JNV Pune.
INTEGRATED (5 YR) M. TECH IN ENGINEERING PHYSICS (APPLIED PHYSICS) AT INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (BHU)
2009 - 2014
Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) are highly recognized and reputed autonomous public institutions of higher education. The selection for higher education in these institutions at undergraduate level is strictly through IIT-JEE (Indian Institute of Technology - Joint Entrance Exam). I scored all India Rank 4087, which is among top 1% of the applicants. Due to my attraction for studying Physics I gave preference to study stream rather than institution.
At IIT(BHU) I participated enthusiastically in various co-curicullar activities as well as academic activities. I always scored second rank in my department and took keen interest in research towards my final semesters. I published 3 research papers based on my contributions at IIT (BHU).
RESEARCH SCHOLAR AT NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SINGAPORE
AUGUST 2016 TO NOVEMBER 2017
National University of Singapore is among top universities in Asia and world for higher education. I was fortunate to get recommendation from MIT prof Tonio Baunasisi for joining Singapore MIT Alliance. However, due to rejection of my application for SMART fellowship at the last moment and also due to family responsibilities, I chose to not accept NUS research scholarship which was awarded to me subsequently.
I applied for the program again in following year and joined SERIS. I worked on simulation of tandem solar cells, more specifically III-V on Si. Being technology enthusiast I also participated in Hackathons and Edutech challanges.
